Mykolayiv
Mykolayiv is located in the south of Ukraine, on the Black Sea coast, and for all times the city was attractive. In ancient times here lived representatives of the Scythians and Sarmatians, also in its time there were Greek colonies.
Mykolayiv was founded by Prince Grigory Potemkin as a city-dockyard, and to this day Mykolayiv remains one of the largest ports of Ukraine. "Ocean" is the name of the shipyard located here, and it's also one of the largest in Ukraine.
Mykolayiv is, first of all, an industrial city. However, here there is something to see - the city is full of various sights and interesting places.
The most beautiful zoo in Ukraine is here in Mykolayiv. Also here is a children's playground "Fairy Tale", a favorite place for children's rest, which is also known as the Ukrainian Disneyland. It should also be noted that the Fleet Boulevard in Mykolayiv is one of the most beautiful embankments in Ukraine. If you have the time, be sure to visit the Mykolayiv Museum of Shipbuilding - here everyone will learn a lot of new and interesting information. Also in Mykolayiv there is a museum of local lore, Aquapark «Aquarius» and many other interesting places.
There is also a lot of interesting things in Mykolaiv region - the biosphere reserve of the Black Sea, the national historical and archaeological reserve of Olbia, where you can see the crypts of the burial mounds of Zeus, the temple of Apollo and other elements of Greek culture preserved here since ancient times.
